Hi all! So I've been to Fiq's Gastronomy at Subang Jaya with some of my friends for a dinner at desserts! It was lovely and fantastic! Okay so at first i thought FIQ stands for the owner's name but mnah. I was wrong. FIQ stands for Food, Innovation, and Quality. an acronym that all together represets the foundation they have built their restaurant on and their commitment to not only satisfy the hunger for food but also the hunger for excellence in the field of culinary science. When i first entered the restaurant, I thought I entered at the back kitchen (wrong entrance) but no, that is just how the restaurant's give you the smell from the fresh stove, pan, - the foods! The minute you walked in, trust me you won't be patience to look at their menus! Such an eye cathing! hahaha.. it took us about 10 to 15 minutes before we ordered our menus.
Crunchy Calamari with Mixed Spices and Served with Chilli Lime Aioli and Sliced Lemon (RM22) for starter.
Affogato (coffee-based beverage) with a Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream Topped with a Shot of Hot Espresso (RM12). I'm not a coffee lover but I really do love this! It have a bitter taste of coffee balanced with the sweet taste from vanilla ice cream.
FIQ's Mojito; Mint, Basilm, Sugar, Lime and Sprite® (RM13).
FIQ's Sirloin Cheese Burger with Home-Made Bun, and Streaky Beef Bacon, Sliced Tomato and Lettuce, Premium Australian Sirloin Beef Patty, Served with Fries and House-Made BBQ Sauce (RM29) really made my day!
I love the tender of the patty and how it all wowing in my mouth with the sauce and melted cheese.
Pan Fried Sea-bass Served with Chinese kale with Soy Sauce, Miso Carrot Emulsion, Apple Raita, and Smoked Sea Salt (RM30).
Citrus Chicken Pasta with Citrus Reduction, Chicken Tenders, Chili Flakes, Cilantro, Spaghetti and Diced Oranges (RM25). Yes you can practically taste the citrus!
Spagetti with Streaky Beef Bacon, Mix Mushrooms, with Cream and Milk (RM25) for those who loves Bacon, AND Spaghetti, AND Mushrooms!
Fried Soft-Shell Crab Fettuccine, with Sliced Red Chili, Fried Curry Leaves, and Sweet Milk Reduction (RM29). It is A MUST if you are in love with hot and spicy food!
Dominique Ansel's Cookies Up and Milk (RM15). Yes you need to pour the milk into the cookie cup!
Brownies Served with Butterscotch Sauce, Crushed Hazelnut, and Topped with Vanilla Ice Cream, and Vanilla Tuile (RM13) for brownies lover! They served it hot!
